Mike Meyer practices primarily in the area of business financial reorganization, including chapter 11 bankruptcies, out-of-court workouts, creditors' remedies and related commercial litigation.
Recent chapter 11 debtor clients include MN Airlines, LLC d/b/a Sun Country Airlines; Ceco, Ltd.; Schwing America, Inc.; Victor Plastics, Inc.; Diversified Graphics Incorporated; Forest Lake Ford, Inc.; M.W. Johnson Construction, Inc.; Tote-A- Lube, LLC; Mesaba Aviation, Inc. (Mesaba Airlines); Eveleth Mines, LLC (EVTAC); and Paper Warehouse, Inc. He also represented the Asbestos Claimants Committee in the API, Inc. chapter 11 case.
In addition to representing debtors and creditors in bankruptcy cases, Mike has represented clients in acquiring businesses that are under bankruptcy court jurisdiction. He has successfully represented clients in a variety of commercial litigation matters, both in bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy courts.
Prior to founding the firm with Paul Ravich, Dave Kirkman and Michael McGrath, Mike was an associate and then partner with the firm of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi (1975-91).
