John N. Saunders practices in the areas of business and commercial law, with an emphasis on commercial real estate.

Recognizing the growing need of developers for expertise in the green building and sustainable development sectors, John was the first attorney in Minnesota to be recognized as a LEED ® Accredited Professional. The accreditation is given by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) to professionals who demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of green building practices and principles. John is a board member of the Standish Ericsson Neighborhood Association and a member of the Advisory Board of the University of St. Thomas School of Law Alumni Association. John is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Emerging Green Builders.

John graduated from St. John’s University in 2000 and obtained a Master of Arts in Rhetoric and Composition from St. Cloud State University in 2002. John obtained his law degree in 2005 from the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
